Procurement Training Solutions has developed a range of standard training solutions based on over 15 years providing training, guidance and advice. Our training programs have been designed based on Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Training Strategy, defining the different stakeholder groups associated with the procurement lifecycle.

Introduction to procurement (half day)

The Procurement Overview course is designed to assist officials in undertaking a procurement process.

The course provides an outline of the Commonwealth Procurement Framework and focuses on the key considerations when undertaking a procurement.

Procurement workshop

A one day workshop on the practical application of procurement. Participants will walk through the procurement process and conduct exercises to reinforce key aspects of procurement.

The course provides an outline of relevant Commonwealth policies including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) as well as the organisations framework, including processes and supporting guidance/documentation.

The course is best suited to staff regularly undertaking procurement (low to high value/risk).

Contracts workshop

A one day workshop on the practical application of managing a contract. Participants will walk through the lifecycle of managing a contract and conduct exercises to reinforce key aspects of contract management.

The course provides an outline of the key phases of contract management focusing on best practice principles outlined in recently released Department of Finance’s Contract Management Guide.
